West Branch bike builder Tom Teesdale dies on RAGBRAI
Tom Teesdale 63, owner of TET Cycles in West Branch, died of a heart attack while riding between Terris and Graettinger on RAGBRAI in northwest Iowa. Teesdale built custom frames for nearly 40 years and helped shape modern mountain bikes and Fat Bike design. He collaborated with University of Iowa professor Steve McGuire and designed bikes for Special Olympians.
