U of projects boost area construction activity in Iowa City
University of Iowa plans and ongoing builds keep local builders busy. Projects include the $17 million Hawkeye Carver Sports Arena, two hospital expansions, a major Laundry Building addition, Kinnick Stadium electrical work, and renovations to rooms and labs across campus. Subcontracts accompany the main bids, with several local firms awarded phase one contracts and related services.
