Eighth Avenue Bridge Repairs Start Monday in Cedar Rapids
The Gazette reports that the Eighth Avenue Bridge in downtown Cedar Rapids will have one lane in each direction as repairs begin Monday. Work lasts until the end of September, while the 16th Avenue Bridge reopens today after a July closure. First Avenue Bridge work continues with one lane eastbound and limited parking, planning a mid August first phase completion and overall finish through early fall.
