Mrs. Helen R. Jones of Detroit and Miss Carol Lathrop of Washington report being kicked and shoved by Japanese sentries near the Japanese embassy in Peiping. Brady indicated Stuart was returning east with a partial load and due to arrive Tuesday or Wednesday.
C A Stoffel 28 fell almost 70 feet from a water tower while painting Tuesday. He was slightly dazed but walked away. Doctors at St Josephs hospital found only minor injuries.
