City to install permanent registration system in Cedar Rapids
Cedar Rapids and Linn county will share installation costs for a permanent voter registration system. Lefebvre Corp. of Cedar Rapids submitted the low bid and most work will be done locally. The system includes 55 binders and master sheets with 960 division index binders. It will be ready by August 1 and used for the next general election with fall registration likely in September.
