Make Me a Star at the Paramount
A light summer film review notes Make Me a Star starring Stuart Erwin and Joan Blondell. The critic praises humor and pace while calling Erwin’s performance strong in moments though not a true star turn. Sam Hardy’s directing and a quirky secretary earn mention amid a Looney Tune and Pathe news reel.
