Fiji delays swearing in new Cabinet amid coup leader objections
Fiji postponed the planned swearing in of a new Cabinet as coup leader George Speight denounced the lineup for not including enough of his supporters and for lacking adequate consultation. President Iloilo, ill with Parkinsons, was said to be resting while Qarase announced the postponement. Speight previously led an armed seizure of Parliament on May 19, holding lawmakers.

State to fund major attractions with bonding plan
The plan allocates half of Millennium project funds and caps at 75 million per project.
