Suspect escapes in patrol car like Keystone Kops
DETROIT AP A handcuffed suspect slipped from a trooper's back seat and drove off in the patrol car on I 75. The car hit a light post, ran out of gas, and was found abandoned in Highland Park. A 23 year old suspect was later arrested. Birthdays noted for Sen George McGovern and Pat Hingle. An 1776 note recalls the Continental Congress engrossing the Declaration on parchment.
