Revive Civility Iowa aims to calm political talks
A yearlong project by Drake University's Ray Center and the National Institute of Civil Discourse seeks to improve civil discourse in Iowa communities. The Cedar Rapids session on August 23 at the Public Library, plus workshops in six other cities, will teach active listening and respectful dialogue to reduce partisan hostility and build consensus.
