City crews install four parklets outside Zins restaurant and Theatre Cedar Rapids at 227 Second Ave and 102 Third St as a test to boost downtown activity. Funeral set for girl who died in Independence fire
Jaileigh Posey a7 died in a June 28 fire and her funeral will be held at Reiff Funeral Home Independence. Owner Robert Reiff said volunteers refused payment and suppliers donated the casket vault and funeral costs while an anonymous couple paid for the gravesite.
