Escapee Teens Nabbed After Terror Spree in Illinois

Three 16-year-olds escaped from Elgin state mental hospital and terrorized Kane, Du Page, and Cook counties with robbery and kidnapping before being captured. Lawrence Lingle, Terry Irvin, and Robert Lunde were identified. Lingle and Irvin were seized in Naperville, while Lunde was nabbed in Lisle. The spree included robbing the Butler home, kidnapping a 12-year-old girl, and threatening the elderly to steal cash and jewelry.
