Kennedy softball turmoil settles after resignations and threat
Kennedy Softball Coach Rick Blackwell says past off field issues are behind him after a chain of events including Christine Baker quitting the team over bunt signs and a confrontation with Blackwell. Baker’s father Jerry Baker resigned as Parents Association president. Assistant coach Kim Hollingsworth also left Kennedy following a meeting with Principal Gregory Reed. Reed disputes meeting details but confirms Hollingsworth’s departure.
