Element of Confusion on Identity of Russian Spy
A Soviet embassy spokesman created confusion over the identity of the Kremlin defector, saying Anatoli Alexander Dolnytsin worked at the embassy in 1961 but was not a defector and lives in Moscow. He refused to confirm if Dolnytsin was on the diplomatic list during a nine month tenure starting January 1961. The West treats the case as valuable, while British editors and U.S. agents react to the disclosure.
