Two Injured In Tuesday Car Truck Crash At Marion

Two men were injured Tuesday when a car truck collided at the intersection of Avenue NE and Fifteenth Street NE in Marion. Jerry Voldingh and Erwin Bowser were taken to St Luke's hospital with lacerations and possible fractures. Voldingh's truck rolled over after the impact. Bowser's vehicle plunged over the curb into a fire.

Elderly Man Struck by Truck Fronting Johnson Avenue

Lawrence Bergh, 70, of 201 Twenty second street NW, suffered lacerations and left shoulder injuries after a truck struck him in front of 2204 Johnson avenue NW. He was taken to St Luke's Hospital. The driver, John Flick of 2651 Johnson avenue, said Bergh stepped into the path of the vehicle.
