Campground firm loses lawsuit over memberships in Iowa case
A Fort Madison judge entered a default judgment of 283400 against Thousand Adventures Inc. of Blair Nebraska after they failed to respond to a suit by up to 70000 members who paid about 3500 plus annual dues for lifetime access to 57 campgrounds in 21 states. Attorneys say the ruling allows notifying all members and set a hearing to determine the debt as organizers push for refunds and accountability.
