Frame-Ums turn album jackets into wall art
Leonard Shustack of Genius Marketing Inc. in Walden NY sells Frame-Ums clear acrylic frames to display old album jackets as art. He argues CDs diminish jacket art but this creates demand for wall displays of iconic sleeves like Sgt Pepper and Pink Floyd. He says collecting art and album covers offers emotional connection and exclusivity. He notes CDs may be easier to replace yet the jacket remains a visual symbol of the record.
