Trial delay in Marion man accused of killing four

The trial for Luke Wade Truesdell, 34, of Marion, charged with bludgeoning four people to death with a metal pipe on June 5 in rural Linn County, has been reset to September 10 due to a scheduling conflict. Truesdell pleaded not guilty to four counts of first-degree murder and remains jailed on four million dollars bail. The defense did not oppose the delay and speedy-trial rights remain intact. Several witnesses and victims’ relatives are noted, with limited details released about motives and investigation.
