Born May 7 1920 in Sioux Falls he served in World War II then taught Industrial Arts Math and Science at Keystone and Cedar Falls and became junior high principal at Howard Winneshiek Community Schools retiring in 1983. He is survived by his son Allan and daughter Deb and four grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church with burial at New Oregon Cemetery and memorials to Crestwood student scholarship.
