Wilson earns first Champ Car win in Toronto serenaded by London bombings
Justin Wilson claimed his first Champ Car victory at the Toronto Molson Indy passing Oriol Servia with 11 laps to go as chaos mounted with A J Allmendinger crashing and Mario Dominguez colliding to trigger a late caution. Wilson dedicated the win to Britons after the London bombings and Olympic celebrations, while Sebastien Bourdais took the series lead with a fifth-place finish as Paul Tracy faded.
