The body of Jack Schneider, 50, an interior decorator and Cedar Rapids resident of 21 years, was recovered Monday from the Cedar River near High Rock after his boat overturned Saturday. He is survived by wife Ethel and a daughter and son, with funeral rites planned in Washington, Iowa.

Eunice Maudsley, born May 9 1892 in Holbrook, died Monday at 1 a.m. at her daughter’s home in Marion. She lived in Cedar Rapids before moving three years ago. Survived by three sons Donald William Eugene, all Cedar Rapids, and three daughters Mrs. David Perkins, Mrs. William Murphy, and Mrs. Royal Hughes of Marion. Husband William J. Maudsley died in 1954. Requiem Mass at St. Joseph’s Church Marion at 9 a.m. Wednesday July 13, with rosary at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Emma Nemec Jakoubek 78 of 1302 Third St SE Cedar Rapids died Sunday at 1 PM after a brief illness. Born in Prague May 16 1882 she came to the United States in 1889 and lived in Cedar Rapids. Survived by son Edward Cedar Rapids six grandchildren twelve great grandchildren a daughter Stella Abernathy preceded in death in 1951. Member of Royal Neighbors Parlor City Camp and Hus Memorial Presbyterian Church. Services Tuesday 2:30 PM at Kuba Funeral Home, Rev Milo Filipi. Burial Oak Hill Cemetery. Alicia Fiedler Dliask of 800 Twentieth Ave. SW Cedar Rapids died Sunday. Born July 10 1889 in Biscay Minnesota she was married in Cedar Rapids May 15 1919. Surviving are four sisters all in Cedar Rapids. Services at Barta Hesser chapel Wednesday at 1 30 p.m. with Rector D A Loferski of St John s Episcopal. Burial Czech National chapel after 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Ida Snell Neubauer of 1502 Ninth St NW Cedar Rapids dies at 11 a.m. Sunday after a brief illness. Born March 24 1893 in Perry she was a member of Trinity Methodist church and the WCTU. Earl Fries formerly of Cedar Rapids who moved to California in 1955 died Saturday in Torrance California. He is survived by his wife two daughters in California and a son Gene at 612 Third Ave SE. Services are being arranged in California.
