Storey was the last of three brothers said to have left St Paul Minnesota on a robbery spree.
The Senate approved by 53 to 18 a measure expanding the currency by about 1 billion dollars. The plan uses bank notes issued to national banks secured by federal bonds at 3 percent or less. The Borah amendment guided the action as a substitute for the Goldsborough bill.
