Raiders show speed decide games in Sunday twin bill
In a pair of Raiders games with Keokuk, speed on the bases decides the outcomes. Milt Bocek scored the deciding run in the afternoon on a grounder that eluded the third baseman, while a late night throw beat Larson at first, potentially loading the bases. Detroit’s ten game winning streak dominates the column, with 103 runs to 49 over ten games and praise for manager Crossley and key players as the club bets on a climb into the first division.
