Ditko the Spider-Man co creator dies at age 90
Steve Ditko co creator of Spider Man and Doctor Strange died at 90 in Manhattan. The NYPD said he was found dead June 29 in his apartment. Born 1927 in Johnstown Pennsylvania Ditko studied under Jerry Robinson and met Stan Lee in New York City. He helped create Spider Man and Doctor Strange debuting in the early 1960s before moving to DC Comics in 1968 to create The Creeper.
