Scandinavian Governments Hit By Rare Political Crises
Oslo Norway AP reports political turmoil across three Scandinavian governments. Norway faces opposition attacks over conditions at a state coal mine on Spitsbergen and a report on a fatal November explosion. Denmark suffers a voter rebuke in a land control plebiscite with 46 percent voting against the measures. Sweden faces a spy case that could trigger a no confidence vote, though a parliamentary commission is sought rather than a judicial one.
