Carl Martin, 52, of Fennimore, Wis., died after a police pursuit in Crawford County ended when his motorcycle lost control on Highway 18 between Marquette and Prairie du Chien. The bike hit a guard rail, he was thrown about 200 feet, and died at the scene near the state line.
