All-Iowa Fair star Korky the Clown finds joy in giving
Stephen White known as Korky the Clown left a $30,000 a year job to tour fairs with his act. He started after borrowing a clown suit in 1973 and now performs at the All Iowa Fair while his wife Becky Kadie and son Jamie Cuddles join occasional acts. He recalls cheering a dying boy named Danny four years ago and says hugs are his favorite part of the profession. The act costs about $50,000 yearly to travel and the production company he is building aims to expand the business.
