Mr. and Mrs. Elliott of Troy Mills mark seventy years of marriage with a family reunion at the Troy Mills Christian church and a public celebration at the high school auditorium to follow. The couple, born in 1850 and 185?, have raised a large family including children in Independence Cedar Falls Davenport and Denver.

Construction Starts on ISU Men’s Dormitory Project

Excavation began Saturday for a $530,600 three story men's dormitory at Iowa State College. The building will house 450 students and is scheduled for completion with a 32 month timeline.

Fine Arts Festival Plans At State University Of Iowa

The State University of Iowa announces a fine arts festival with faculty guests in theater music and art including Prof. W D Coder and Horst Johnson. Coggon Christian Church marks 75th anniversary festivities
