Curious George Wartime Escape Exhibit Opens in Cedar Rapids
The Carl and Mary Koehler History Center hosts Family Fun Day for The True Story of Curious George Wartime Escape. Visitors learn how Hans Augusto and Margret Rey fled Nazi France in 1940 on bicycle and train, carrying original manuscripts and 27 Drummond prints. The exhibit, touring by ExhibitsUSA, runs summers through Aug. 16 with activities, tie-dye, popcorn, crafts, and free admission by donation.
