Tattoos as therapy for a Texas grandma survivor
Irving homemaker Shirley Hammond known as Miss Dixie, 62, a two-time cancer survivor, covers her body with tattoos to cope with mood issues. The King’s tattoo studio near Dallas ICU notes she visits weekly, saying ink helps her feel alive while her husband Darrell recalls early stigma but now supports her transformation.
