Iowa balks at CD list in antitrust library deal
Iowa officials balk at a shipment list for free CDs from a $144 million antitrust settlement with five major record companies. The list included 307 copies of Michael Bolton Time L ess 1991, 41 copies of John Tesh One World and 739 copies of Whitney Houston Star Spangled Banner. The plan to ship 57 000 new titles was rewritten to reduce duplicates and better serve public and academic libraries, with delivery possibly by summer's end.
