Marie Victoria Petrick 84 of Mechanicsville died Friday after a long illness at Mercy Hospital Cedar Rapids. Born November 12 1895 in Vienna Austria she came to the United States in 1910. Memorial funds support Mount Vernon Lisbon ambulance service. John Vernon Ryan 62 Cedar Rapids resident born July 2 1919 in St Patrick Minnesota died Friday after a lingering illness. Survived by wife three sons two daughters and several grandchildren. Services set for 10:30 a.m. Monday at St Matthews Catholic Church and Cedar Memorial Funeral Home with military rites by Hanford Post 5. Burial Cedar Memorial. Memorials to Boy Scouts and local institutions noted.
