Argentine army to review Falklands defeat commission formed
Argentina's army set up a commission led by Gen. Nestor Calvi to probe its role in the Falklands campaign and reported shortages. Gen. Eduardo Exposito defended logistics while President Reynaldo Bignone and Economy Minister Dagnino Pastore discussed economic policy shifts, wage raises, and a peso devaluation. The nuclear question looms as Adm. Carlos Madero said Argentina could build atomic weapons and possibly a nuclear submarine.
