Waukon Chapel Draws Tourists To Small Town Landmark
Eartha and Chester Hastings preserve the Chapel of Memories near Waukon, a wedding site since 1964 that has hosted four baptisms and five weddings. More than 3,000 visitors have registered, with many others stopping to look. The couple relocated the chapel in 1964 and maintain its original charm amid minor vandalism and ongoing upkeep.
