Cedar Rapids School Board Holds Annual Meeting and Finances
Cedar Rapids school board met for its annual session at 4 p m in the president Harold Trewin’s office. They reappointed C D Hedberg secretary and fixed his bond at 1000, with the treasurer bond at 22500, and approved bids from Clinton Machinery to buy used shop equipment after bid changes. Receipts for the year totaled 1947963 39 with district taxes 1085737 41 and state apportionment 21875 10. Disbursements were 1279926 45 leaving a balance of 666036 94 on June 30.
