Train Hits Stalled Car on Blairs Worry Road
A 60 mph Milwaukee Road train struck a stalled 1961 Chevrolet on Blairs Worry Road near the C avenue crossing at 0 53 a m injuring Morris King 18 Walker resident and his wife 18 and son seven months. Mrs King and baby were treated for possible head injuries while Morris King suffered a back injury and was listed in fair condition at St Luke's Hospital. Three occupants were thrown onto the pavement as the car was demolished and signals at the crossing operated. Investigating officers continued the probe Wednesday.
