Board Denies Rehearing and Several Variances
Keyser sought a rehearing as only three of five members were present at the prior hearing. Four members attended the latest session. Lumer Lorence and George Farmer opposed the variance while Vernon E. White and L. C. Knolk supported it. A Worthington Streeter at 1724 Avenue NW failed to secure a second after Knolk motioned to grant the 6 by 15 foot rear store addition at 1109 Ellis Boulevard NW. The board also unanimously denied Mrs. A W Van Vleck at 704 Thirty-second Street NE to enclose her existing front porch.
