Trump refiles suit against pollster in state court
Former president Donald Trump and allies refiled a fraud suit in Iowa state court against pollster J Ann Selzer and the Des Moines Register after federal dismissal. The case targets Selzer’s Iowa Poll showing Harris leading Trump, while Miller-Meeks and Zaun were added then later dropped. The move coincides with Iowa’s anti SLAPP law taking effect to curb strategic lawsuits against public participation.
