Severe Flooding Hits Cedar Rapids and Linn County Roads
Cedar Rapids and Linn County faced widespread flood damage after a weekend storm. Public works officials reported over 300 flood related calls and more than 20 rescues while multiple highways and bridges sustained collapse, washouts, and closures. A man died under a collapsed building in Fairfax, with responders securing two injuries and ongoing damage assessments.
