Marion church fails to vote out ELCA in two thirds split
St. Mark's Faith and Life Center in Marion failed to reach two thirds to leave the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Of 633 ballots, 381 supported leaving and 252 to stay after a prior October vote passed 67.1 percent to depart.
