Iowa Gov vows veto of dove hunting legalization bill

Gov. Tom Vilsack said he will veto House File 43 which would give the Natural Resources Commission authority to decide rules for mourning dove hunting. He cited lack of public support and says lawmakers should pass such policy themselves, not delegate to an appointed board. The veto move came before the measure reached his desk.
