Meanwhile, Iowa hunter watchers note a whitetail buck near Cedar Rapids may surpass the world Boone and Crockett record, based on a shed found in spring 1997. The antler shed’s G2 measures 16 inches, suggesting a rack exceeding the current 213 inches.
