Priest John Walsh Dies at 68 in Nursing Home
The Rev. John Walsh 68 native of Cumberland Maryland died Sunday in a nursing home. Held two years by the Japanese in China during the 1930s he was released in 1935. His brother Bishop James Walsh was jailed by Red China in 1950. Walsh ordained in 1932 served with Maryknoll and taught at the Maryknoll seminary in Chesterfield Maryland in 1962.
