Hillbilly party mishap at town gathering shocks attendees

A local town social series featured a fishing dinner in Chief Vlach’s cabin that ended in a fire destroying about 50 pounds of carp and buffalo. Officer Bill Williams reported the barbecue was still burning when the fire broke out, with observers joking later that the charred remains were saved. The night also included comical incidents from hillbilly party invitations to a followable store detective and a series of lighthearted misadventures across town.
