Atkins man indicted in federal case over firearms
Scott Kolsrud, 39, of Atkins and formerly of Dubuque, was indicted in Cedar Rapids federal court on charges of possessing three firearms and shotgun ammunition on October 29. A 1996 Benton County misdemeanor domestic violence conviction makes him ineligible to possess weapons, with potential penalties up to 10 years in prison if convicted. His first appearance is set for February 5.
