Bills aim to shape college teaching in Iowa
Two weeks after launching, the Iowa House Higher Education Committee introduced 15 study bills targeting colleges and universities. The measures seek to curb diversity, equity and inclusion efforts and set mandates on what is taught, extending beyond public universities to community and private schools.
