DOT investigator aids FBI in locating suspect tied to bogus license
Driving records helped FBI and Secret Service track down Hmimssa, a Middle Eastern man who used a fake address to obtain a license. DOT examiner Steier traced a C Avenue NE address, a phone number, and a car linked to the suspect. Federal agents confronted Hmimssa as he exited a C Avenue NE apartment, ending a quick joint operation and earning praise for Steier and the licensing staff.
