Coke settles Surge trademark dispute before Super Bowl launch
Coca-Cola Co and Babson Bros reach a settlement over the Surge name used for Coca-Cola’s green high calorie caffeinated beverage. Babson had claimed prior use on Surge milking machines and cleaning products since 1925. Coke says its Sunday ad campaign proceeds unchanged.
