Local church installs Rev Wayne Schroeder as senior pastor
The Rev Wayne Schroeder, 40, will be installed as senior pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids Sunday at 2:30 p.m. His brother Rev Ted Schroeder will preach and Rev Daniel Johnson will conduct the rite. Schroeder is moving from Calvary Lutheran Church in Lincoln Nebraska where he has served since 1978. He holds a Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary and is active with Concordia Teachers College. He and his wife Beverly have four children. A reception follows at Trinity Lutheran School.
