Don’t pass the plow on the right warns Iowa DOT
Iowa DOT engineer John Hart notes two plow trucks sideswiped on Iowa 60 likely total losses. He says backups are scarce and route changes reduce coverage, urging motorists to slow, give plows space, and avoid passing on the right after a spike in snowplow crashes since January. Cedar Rapids and Iowa City reported minor incidents with plows.
