Waukon residents Dave Bell and Lee Stegen share a fever for the Oakland Raiders. Bell, 46, christened his son Marcus Alan Bell and his dog Allie Davis after Raiders figures, and owns a Raider-emblem golf cart. Stegen sports a Raiders tattoo, with a logo on his thigh. Predator law rulings may free five Iowa inmates

Two Iowa Supreme Court rulings on sexual predator law could allow five men to be released and trigger retrials for 10 to 15 others, with the Public Defender noting the impact on treatment and future risk assessments at Oakdale. Roxann Ryan said most of the 39 patients in the Oakdale program are cooperating with treatment.
